- Matt and I met while working at HP. We got engaged 6 months later and were married 3 months after that in the Manti, Utah LDS Temple. We have been married for 8+ years. We traveled, built a house, started our own home decor retail store and had 2 darling little boys Ryker and Gage!

Our Life Together Begins...
Matt asked me to marry him 6 months after we started dating. 3 months later we got married in the Manti Temple. We rented a house in Murray for the first year while looking for land. A friend at work told us about Cedarhills which we fell in love with the first time we saw it. So, we had my Dad build us a house and have lived there ever since. Matt and I decided to travel and play a lot before starting our family. We got to go to Hawaii, Florida, South Carolina, California several times and many other places that we love.We opened our own home decor store like my parents store. A few months later we decided that it was time for something new...so we started a family.
Ryker...
On September 17th, 2004 Ryker was born. That was the hardest but most exciting day of our lives. He came out with a thick head of black, curly hair. He is such a fun, sweet, chill child. He is very creative and a perfectionist. He loves to play with other kids but he is happy to entertain himself when there is nobody to play with. Ryker does have a mind of his own. If he doesn't want to do something, he is not going to do it. Ryker LOVES candy like his Dad and Salty food like his Mom. He will not drink water. We have to trick him into drinking it by pouring a little juice into it so it has a little flavor. He loves his cousins. I think he loves Dylan more than anyone or anything in the world. He talks about him ALL the time. Ryker has had a few accidents. When he was 2, the neighbors dog jumped on him causing him to fall and hit his head on a wheelbarrow. We had to rush him to the hospital where they took him in an ambulance to Primary Childrens Hospital. I never want to do that again. He had to have his skull popped out where it had crushed in. The Dr. said that the only thing that saved him from brain damage was that BIG Head!! It was the most terrifying 3 days of our lives. He does have a really cool scar to show for it. Now he is wearing a cast on his right arm. He fell down our stair while carrying his race track and got a buckle fracture on both bones by his wrist. He is getting really good with his left hand though. Ryker played on his first T-ball league this summer. He was really shy and was okay until the spotlight was on him. We didn't get pictures because he would let them take his picture. Maybe next year he will be less shy and willing to participate.
Gage...On November 16th, 2007 Gage came into our lives. He was born very quickly and easily. It was a nice change. He was born with long, thick platinum blonde hair. It is still long and blonde. He is due for a cut but I just can't bring myself to cut off those long curly locks. Gage is a very mild child too. He was sleeping through the night by 2 months old. He is very interested in everything. He loves his Big Brother! He wants to be wherever Ryker is. Ryker can do the littlest things and Gage will laugh like it is the funniest thing he has ever seen. He likes to sit next to Ryker while he plays xbox. I think he thinks he is playing. He is doing the worm to get around...fast! He loves all foods and all drinks. I think he is going to be really smart like his brother. He loves to learn and explore everything. He is so fun to have in the family.
Children are the best part of life! Matt and I do not know what we did before we had children.
